My name is Lucy, or Lucifer – the Oxygen Chameleon has the right of it.

After completing an MA in Creative Writing, I am working on a fantasy novel which I hope to have finished this year. This blog is really a collection of ramblings and observations about life as I move through it, not all of which will make sense. When not at work, I am usually to be found in my snug bedroom (the warmest in the house) typing away in front of a window that looks onto the hills of a valley in east Devon. There are a few things I love: The Romantic Poets (particularly Blake, Wordsworth, Coleridge, Shelley, Keats); fantasy novels i.e Tolkien’s Middle Earth, Jordan’s The Wheel of Time, and other such wonderful epics; Pink Floyd, the greatest band of  all; candles; chocolate; summer; and of course playing WoW (my geeky secret that is not a secret as I’ve just written it on a public blog).
